The Division often provides
support to the University by offering protection and
escorted transportation to some of the most valued members
of the Carolina Community and guests.
Several of the Division's
officers have completed the Protective Service Operations
Training Program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training
Center (FLETC). This three-week course is designed to
provide specialized training on a full spectrum of
protective operations including coordination, mission
planning, motorcade operations and many other areas.
Division officers have also completed training conducted by
the U.S. Secret Service and private training providers.
