Welcome to the World Wide Web Site of the University of South Carolina Division of Law Enforcement and Safety. The Division is composed of three departments: Support Services (investigations and administration), Field Services (uniform patrol and crime prevention), and Parking and Vehicle Management (vehicle registration, motor pool). We hope the information contained on these pages is interesting and useful.

The Division was awarded National Accreditation by the
Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc, (CALEA) in 1996 and was reaccredited in 1999, 2003, and 2006.

In 2006, the Division received Flagship recognition.  Please visit the Accreditation Section for more information or click here to view our CALEA Flagship Agency Certificate.
