The SC Tax Council awards scholarships to SC residents who are majoring in Accounting or Taxation at a South Carolina college or University.
Must be a South Carolina resident, and a rising second year student at a two-year institution or a rising senior or graduate student at a four-year institution who is majoring in Accounting or Taxation at a South Carolina college or university.
Several scholarships are given each year in $500 and $1,000 increments.

The AICPA Minority Scholarship awards outstanding minority students to encourage their selection of accounting as a major and their ultimate entry into the profession. Scholarships range from $3,000 to $10,000.
Provides financial assistance to outstanding accounting students who demonstrate potential to become leaders in the CPA profession. $2,500 for one year.
