About this Fellowship
This need-based award provides grants to students who are able to do academic work at the university level and who are part of the progressive movement for peace and justice on the campus and in the community.
Deadlines are typically in April, but be sure to check the competition website for the current cycle’s deadline.
The Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund provides grants to students actively working for peace and justice. Recent grantees have been active in the struggle against racism, sexism, homophobia and other forms of oppression; building the movement for economic justice; and creating peace through international anti-imperialist solidarity. Applicants must have participated in activities in the US, and there is a strong preference for applicants who plan on working in this country.
Award Value
Awardees receive grants of up to $15,000 per year.
