Provides funding to empower promising LGBTQ students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential – despite the obstacles often put before them – to make a significant impact on society.
The Point Foundation Flagship Scholarship empowers LGBTQ+ and ally students who are earning their undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees at accredited colleges in the United States by offering financial support, community resources, and professional development.
Point Scholarships are awarded on a "last provider" basis. Point fills in the gaps and provides funds not provided by other scholarships, grants, loans, work/study programs, etc.
Deadlines are typically in December, but be sure to check the fellowship website for exact dates.
Award amounts vary according to the level of financial need. Maximum of four years of support.
