About this Fellowship
This program provides financial support to master’s- and doctoral-level counseling students who commit to serving minority communities.

The NBCC MFP will help ensure that the behavioral health needs of all Americans are met, regardless of language or culture, thereby reducing health disparities and improving overall community health and well-being. By strategically promoting and providing fellowships to master’s and doctoral-level counseling students, the NBCC MFP strengthens the infrastructure that engages diverse individuals in counseling and increases the number of professional counselors providing effective, culturally competent services to underserved populations.
Award Value
Awardees receive between $5,000 and $20,000 for tuition, depending upon degree level.
