About this Fellowship
The National Institutes of Health Graduate Partnerships Program allows PhD students to conduct all or part of their dissertation research at one of NIH's centers and institutes in collaboration with an NIH mentor.
Currently enrolled graduate students must apply to the Individual Partnerships program. GPP applicants must identify an NIH mentor who is a Principal Investigator in the NIH Intramural Research Program and complete an agreement with NIH and their home department. Fellows must remain fulltime students.
Applications are accepted at any time.
Award Value
Financial support is arranged individually between NIH and the student's institution. Fellows conducting more than six months of research must receive a monthly stipend (paid for either by funds from the NIH, the student's institution, or a combination of the two).
