Impactful Experience: 
One of the most impactful experiences outside the classroom was having the opportunity to intern in a Spanish-speaking office in Santiago, Chile. The experience gave me incredible immersive practice with the language, taught me key professional skills, and gave me the opportunity to build common ground with those from a different background as we connected over meals, work projects, and shared adventures. 

Enjoy most as  TS: 
I most enjoy the support system available to Top Scholar's -- from the first day that I arrived at USC, I felt equipped with a strong community of driven individuals who were both highly impressive students and genuinely caring friends. These people have pushed me to better myself in every way possible during my four years here. 

Story: 
I have always been captivated by the idea of working for an impactful non-profit organization, but I never imagined that my time in college would provide me with the opportunity to create my own! As part of an Honors course centered on human rights, we were given the opportunity to research an international issue that genuinely evoked our passion and complete the arduous process of creating a hypothetical non-profit organization aimed at mitigating the problem. The experience taught me the complexity of organizations that seek to make the world a better place, educated me on potential unforeseen consequences of certain actions, and inspired me to further research ways to leave a mark on the world around me. 

Post-Graduate Plans: 
This summer, Anna will be working as a waitress at Rainbow Trout Ranch as she seeks an exciting adventure before hopefully beginning an internationally-focused career in the fall. 

Career goals/professional aspirations: 
I hope to find a way to combine my passion for serving others with my interest in learning foreign languages through an internationally-focused career. Whether this is with a non-profit organization or another avenue of international relations, I hope to create a more peaceful and just world through my efforts.
