Sherri Kirkland joined the External Relations team in January 2023 after working in Sales and Customer Relations for 28 years. During her time as a Varsity Spirit Fashion Sales Representative, she was an Eagle Rep, a highly sought after award for excellence and communications within the company and her territory. Sherri was a mentor to many other representatives over the years who went on to be successful in their own areas. Sherri now works as the Administrative Coordinator for the College of Arts and Sciences External Relations Department. She enjoys the cohesiveness of the team dynamics and seeing projects through to successful ends. Sherri is also a University of South Carolina College of Arts and Sciences Alumni. 

In her spare time, Sherri loves to read, spend time outside working around the pool, being with her son, Jay (20), family, friends and her precious pup, Maverick. Family is very important to Sherri and making time for the important things is a must.  Having her mom (81) and stepdad (81) close by is a true blessing.
