Background
Maryam Goli is a second-year Ph.D. student in mass communications. Originally from Tehran, she worked towards information freedom among marginalized societies while living in Ankara, Turkey.
Most recently, she graduated from her master’s program in media innovation in journalism
from the University of Nevada, Reno.
She enjoys frog-shaped objects of all kinds and seeks solace from her hectic modern life by running into the wilderness.
