What kind of research will I do?
The Education Administration Ph.D. program is designed to emphasize educational research and inquiry, with a focus on addressing broader educational issues in administration. The program is designed to produce educational researchers, with graduates of the program serving in faculty and administrative roles. The Ph.D. prepares graduates to engage critically with research and theory related to education administration.
What will I study?
Students in the Education Administration Ph.D. program study will work closely with their advisor to construct a program of study that supports their chosen concentration. All students will take doctoral core courses and then specialize in a concentration area and delve deeper in multiple research methodologies and methods in consultation with their advisor and doctoral committee.
