Young Artist Piano Study

The Young Artist Program is the best fit for students who have completed the Elementary Artist Program or an equivalent piano study program. Pianists improve their technique, performance, theory, listening, and creative skills through weekly lessons and classes.

Program Description

29 weekly 45 or 60-minute lessons

Six repertoire classes, nineteen musicianship classes, two recitals, SCMTA State auditions

In this program, students begin to explore and develop higher levels of artistry and musical skill. Students participate in formal performances, including one recital per semester. Students will also receive individualized preparation for additional performance opportunities, including  SCMTA district auditions and Royal Conservatory Exams (participation in these events incurs an additional cost). For students who advance to SCMTA state auditions, the Center for Piano Studies will reimburse the cost of the state registration fee.

See Policies and Tuition for details. Register online.
